Pro: The things I like about this book is that it gives some detailed information about hikes such as elevation gain, length of trail, difficulty, etc., which is great.Con: The thing I didn't like is that there are a ton of trails near where I live and this book only gives a handful of some of the more "major" hikes that are the most well known. Unfortunately, while the books is a good supplement, I can get more comprehensive information/location from the Alaska dot org website. I would recommend the book if you are visiting Alaska and only have time for a few hikes - otherwise you can find more hikes/trail information on the AK website.
